Raw surface water pretreatment before ultrafiltration system
Thailand local municipal water plant found Pullner via online platform, several large-scale water intake lines, operating ambient temperature 25~32℃. Previously used ordinary folded filter cartridges with small flow rate.
Conventional filter cartridges have limited dirt holding capacity. Rainy season raw water turbidity surges, filter cartridges block rapidly, daily shutdown replacement is required, restricting the system’s designed water output. The plant needs high-flow type filter cartridges to lift throughput and cut maintenance frequency.
We recommended Pullner PHFK series high flow filter cartridges for this Thailand raw water pretreatment project. These 6-inch OD pleated PP high flow filter cartridges adopt gradient depth filtration structure, 20μm nominal rating specially customized for seasonal high turbidity surface water. Compared with conventional small-size filter cartridges, each high flow filter cartridges delivers over 30m³/h flow rate with remarkable higher dirt holding capacity, successfully extending service cycle and cutting daily maintenance work drastically.
We supplied customized high flow filter cartridges matching original filter housings. Our high flow filter cartridges expand effective filtration area greatly, bear higher instantaneous turbidity impact from raw water. No modification to existing pipeline and vessel.
